L.A. Radio Hosts Suspended For Inappropriate Whitney Houston Remarks
It seems that insensitivity toward death is beyond prominent for "John and Ken Show" hosts John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou.
The KFI AM 640 hosts recently made some inappropriate remarks regarding the late Whitney Houston, stating, "she’s a crack head for 20 years and we heard about how obnoxious she was at these parties and she’s doing hand stands, babbling like an idiot and running around….it’s bag lady time. She’s been doing this for 20 years, blew through her money, ruined her voice….she was for practical purposes broke. So how much of a pain in the ass do you think she was? Can you imagine you’re Clive Davis and she hasn’t had her head screwed on right for 20 years, and at some point your just sick of it all and so is everybody else…..Here comes the crack hoe again, what’s she gonna do….after a while, everybody’s exhausted and then you find out she’s dead it’s like really….took this long?”
It's appalling that these words would come out of their mouths. Whitney hasn't even been gone a week yet! The pair was suspended for their remarks and an apology was released stating, "We made a mistake, and we accept the station's decision," said Kobylt. They will return back to their show on February 27.
