M.I.A. and Gisele Bundchen Become the Bad Girls of Super Bowl XLVI
By now you know that M.I.A. has taken an L for flippin' the bird during her "Gimme Me All Your Luvin" Super Bowl performance, on which she assists Nicki Minaj and Madonna. Many feel that she tainted Madge's performance while others believe M.I.A. stayed true to her rebellious form. It's not surprise that the NFL is flooding the media with apologies (see also: Janet Jackson nipplegate), but the question is why? It seems in 2012 that obscene lyrics and overtly sexuality are allowed on all other platforms but America's beloved football fields.
Well, the "Bad Girl" singer wasn't the only naughty girl last night. The New York Giants found victory a 21-17 victory over Tom Brady and his Patriots bunch. Consequently, Brady's wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, didn't handle it too well. Reportedly, the Victoria's Secret beauty yelled to fans, "My husband cannot f***ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time. I can't believe they dropped the ball so many times."
Emotions run high at events like this, but were the bad girls justified in their outwardly, bold gestures?
