Jessica Sanchez Wows "American Idol" Judges
America was able to tune in for a big treat last night (March 7) as the top 13 on "American Idol" sang renditions of Stevie Wonder and Whitney Houston songs.
All of the contestants performed exceptionally well, but the performance of the night came when 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez took a leap of faith and sang Whitney Houston's biggest hit "I Will Always Love You." She hit every note and it really was enough to give any Whitney fan chills.
Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler and the entire audience gave Sanchez a standing ovation. Tyler stated, "Jessica, you may be the one. You just made 40 million people cry."
