Spike Lee Apologizes to Couple After Retweeting Their Address

Director Spike Lee was recently brought under fire for retweeting an elderly couples address that was described as being the house of Trayvon Martin’s killer, George Zimmerman.

The mishap caused David and Elaine McCain to flee to a hotel. Distraught from the entire sitaution the McCain’s asked that Lee apologize. “All this is really scary and it’s a shame. There’s no reason they put our address out there without checking to see who lived there,” stated David.
