Nicki Minaj Visits '106 & Park,' Back With New Album
One of music biggest superstars is back with her second album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
With the hype of Nicki Minaj's latest release amongst hip-hop lovers being obviously smaller, it makes us wonder has the antics of Nicki Minaj scared away her hip-hop fans and replaced them with an entire new fan base of teen pop lovers?
With features from 2 Chainz, Cam'ron, Lil Wayne, Beenie Man, Rick Ross, Drake, Nas, Young Jeezy and Chris Brown, Nicki has called on A-list rappers and entertainers to appear on her album. She also called on several of her alter egos including Roman himself. While appeasing her hip-hop fan base on the first half of the album, her pop fans are not to be disappointed, as several tracks maintain the uptempo dance beat she became famous for with "Superbass."
While there are traces of the Nicki we grew to love from mixtapes and features, there is no denying the transition into an international crossover appeal from dance tracks guaranteed to make Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez take to YouTube yet again.
