Amber Rose Goes Upper East Side for ‘Lifestyle Mirror’

The Mrs. Khalifa-to-be continues to keep herself busy while planning her upcoming nuptials.  Amber Rose soaks up the spotlight for online style magazine,, taking on a more upscale look for her latest feature.

The photo shoot, which took place in the John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman and at the Bistro Chat Noir restaurant, is meant to show Rose in a new way.

“The concept was to show Amber as a very proper, very Upper East Side lady who lunches,” says Chelsea Gombes, the mag’s Editor-in-Chief . “Her fans have definitely never seen this side of her before.”

The former video vixen dons her signature blonde baldie while browsing through the high-end retailer and getting dolled up. She also reveals how she met her rapper hubby Wiz Khalifa through Twitter.

“I DMed Wiz on Twitter after an interview where he said I was the ultimate girl, because I wanted to send him some shades. We became friends right away, and that’s how it all began!” she said.

Rose views the trendy social media site as a way to connect with her 1.1 million followers, whom she endearing refers to as ‘rosebuds’ and ‘rosestuds.’

She also describes her fashion as a self-serving form of expression that should not become a target of criticism.

“If I want to wear a short skirt I can, and I expect to not be disrespected because I want to feel and dress sexy and not be called a whore,” she says. “Every woman has the right to dress as she pleases and not be judged by her wardrobe choices. I support all women doing their thing, whether in high heels and a mini skirt or sweats and sneakers.”

‘Lifestyle Mirror’ also compiled this short film on the bodacious beauty which is available for download here. Visitors can also cop individual pieces of her look by hovering over Rose’s photos on the site.
