Michael Jackson Costumes To Go On World Tour
Long live the King of Pop. Michael Jackson’s bedazzled jackets, glittery gloves and most memorable ensembles are about to hit the road for a world tour before being auctioned off this December.
According to celebrity auctioneer Darren Julian, the clothing will be part of a mega exhibit in South America, Europe and Asia, opening on May 18 at the Museo de la Moda in Santiago, Chile.
MJ fans will find between 50 and 100 costumes by longtime Jackson designers Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush. The collection will include a silver leotard worn during Jackson’s 1987 Bad tour and the black spandex outfit from his “Scream” video.
All items will be sold by Julien’s Auction House by Dec. 2.
