Tamar Braxton Threatens to Sue K. Michelle

As if Love and Hip Hop Atlanta did not have enough drama, K. Michelle may be facing a lawsuit. On the first episode of the new VH1 show, aspiring singer K. Michelle discussed her abusive relationship with Toya Carter’s new husband, Memphitz. The episode aired while Toya and her hubby were celebrating the year anniversary in Paris.

Braxton Family Values star Tamar Braxton defended Toya by tweeting, “Oh have fun and let this girl sell her fairy tale.” The tweet was later deleted.
K. Michelle was offended by the tweets and mentioned it in her interview with TT Torrez of iPower 92.1. “I’m not mad at him [Memphitz] or her [Toya] or her beliefs, but one person I am mad at is that muppet, Tamar Braxton. She needs to have several seats…I don’t play in them little games. I’m from Memphis, we jump gates. When the muppet gets it together, she needs to stay away from me.”
A cease and desist letter from Braxton’s lawyer surfaced quickly.
“Your Tweets and the [interview] are laden with scandalous and malicious misinformation  concerning our client. Making threats of violence against an individual is a crime and while it is clear that your threats are directed at Ms. Braxton, referring to Ms. Braxton as a ‘muppet’ is defamatory. In an effort to gain celebrity for yourself you have perpetuated and magnified provocative, unsubstantiated allegations while simultaneously making criminal threats.”
Suprise, surprise. Tamar even wants a public apology.
Do you think these two can settle this our of court and off the airwaves?
