Sharon Osbourne Drops Out As Judge On 'America's Got Talent'
It always comes in threes. First Steven Tyler left American Idol, then Jennifer Lopez followed suit, and now Sharon Osbourne will be leaving America's Got Talent.
According to Billboard, Sharon announced Tuesday that she's ready to say goodbye to NBC's talent competition show America's Got Talent, which actually took the network by surprise.
In a response to fellow judge Howard Stern, Sharon tweeted, "My darling @HowardStern, money is not the reason I'm not returning to @nbcagt, it's because..."—which she's yet to follow up with an explanation.
NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt addressed the situation, stating, "This is coming out of context and sort of spontaneously, and we don't even know what's going on. And it's probably much ado about nothing."
Sharon's tweet originated from Stern's own tweet about himself possibly not returning. Looks like Mariah Carey won't be the only one getting a new judge panel gig.
