Aaliyah’s Brother Says Rumored Album “Not Supported By Haughton Family”
After the somewhat controversial release of Aaliyah’s track “Enough Said” featuring Drake, rumors have surrounded a possible album and biopic.
While there have been reports that producers Timbaland and Noah “40” Shebib will have a hand in the posthumous project released on the “I Miss You” singer’s label Blackground Records, it seems there will be no support coming from her family.
Aaliyah’s younger brother Rashad took to her artist Facebook and posted this message, “There is no official album being released and supported by the Haughton family.”
Which leaves us to wonder: Since Drizzy’s (tatted) affection for A is blatant, shouldn’t he have gotten the family’s blessing first?
Either way, fans can only hope anything associated with Aaliyah does her memory justice.
