Porter Robinson and Zedd’s Poseidon Tour Will Shake the Earth

Poseidon is a Greek God often referred to as “the Earth Shaker.” It’s also the name of Porter Robinson and Zedd’s new tour, which will kick off at the end of September and burn through seven states and two countries in only 19 days.

Whether it be fans storming to get tickets or the massive electro beats the two will be dropping, earth shaking is sure to ensue in the 15 cities slated to host this much anticipated show.
Aside from the fact that both headliners are barely out of their teens, this show is being billed as a collaborative venture, meaning that Zedd is not opening for Porter nor vice versa. “We are playing together,” the two have said.

Does this actually mean that the two will be on stage together at the same time, emulating such duos as Dr. P and Flux? They haven’t exactly said yet. While the show is being billed as “back to back,” this still implies that one artist will play after the other. Perhaps it should have been named the “Side by Side” tour? Regardless of how Zedd and Porter end up playing for their crowd, fans can be sure to expect some unique levels of collaboration for this show, especially since the two will be using the opportunity to debut their new collaborative track “Poseidon,” for which the tour was named.

Both artists have had huge years not only on the festival circuit but on the Beatport charts as well, each producing tracks that have become anthems for EDM fans worldwide. Porter’s track ‘Language’ has been among the most played songs on BBC Radio One and has been heard at almost every festival in the US this summer, while Zedd’s single ‘Spectrum’ has commissioned more remixes than any track in recent memory.

Watch Both!

Tickets for the show are on sale now. You may have already seen these artists play an individual set at a festival, but it sounds like this upcoming venture will be something unique. Our advice? Don’t miss out.
