How to Turn Your Drowsy Look into a Fresh Face
First impressions are everything , so it's imperative your face is always glowing.
Long nights can cause a drowsy, drained appearance, so to eliminate this, start with a cleanser that isn't too harsh but gets the job done. Cetaphil is the perfect gentle daily cleanser and is great for people with dry skin.
After cleansing, moisturize your skin with a moisturizer that contains SPF. Next, apply your favorite concealer to all of your breakout areas. Then, just apply foundation. Since the warmer months are upon us, a lightweight mineral powder, such as MAC's Mineralize Skinfinisa, is highly recommended.
After you've evened your foundation, define your brows with a brow pencil, then dab three dots of L'Oreal True Match Concealer directly under your eye for a highlight. (Make sure your concealer is a couple shades lighter than your skin tone!)
If you wish to apply eyeshadow, wait until after you've applied the foundation.
Contour your face with bronzer by lightly wiping the bronzer under your cheek bones, then apply blush on the apples of your cheeks. Our recommendation? Try e.l.f.'s Contouring Palette that can be found in Target for $3! (Bargain Alert! Not only is this palette a great price, but also it's comparable to Nars Highlighting/Bronzing Blush duo in Orgasm and Laguna that costs $41!)
Finally, using a white eyeliner pencil, line the bottom lid of your eye and don't forget your mascara!
This trick makes your eyes look brighter and awake! With the tricks listed above, you definitely won't have to worry about looking drained after a long night of studying (or partying)!
