Mac Miller & Pharrell – "Glow" Mac Miller & Pharrell – "Glow"

V Playlist: Mac Miller x Pharrell, Robin Thicke, Ace Hood x Bun B x Kirko Bangz, Domo Genesis x Alchemist, Jae Millz

VIBE's Daily Additions to the 'Pod

1. Mac Miller & Pharrell – "Glow"
It's almost impossible for Pharrell to produce a beat that's less than stellar. This one proves that once again. Mac's fresh lyricism and youth give Rell's production new life in this next generation of artists. We can't wait to hear this full project.

2. Robin Thicke – "Another Life"
Definitely one for the grown & sexy to two-step to. Somewhat reminiscent to R. Kelly's "Step In The Name Of Love," with that vibe to make you get up and dance, Thicke keeps his signature style while ushering something fresh.

3. Ace Hood (feat. Bun B & Kirko Bangz) – "Double Cup"
When it comes to drinking anthems, this one is pretty much the same ole, same ole. While Bun B lends a decent verse, the "bragging-cause-I'm-high" rap is definitely sounding stale.

4. Domo Genesis & Alchemist - "Prophecy"
That guitar riff throughout adds so much drama to this track. Paired with the piano sample & Domo's effortless flow, this one isn't for knocking to—you're supposed to actually feel it.

5. Jae Millz (feat. Al Doe) – "I Shot Ya"
Sampling LL Cool J's ill Trackmasters-produced classic, it's best to judge this one strictly on their bars. With that said, we can't complain here. Both dudes fair well over this beat.

Premiere Track: THEY. Are Back With "All Mine" And Ready To Admit That Ex-Sex Is Hard To Let Go

Does your mind ever wonder off to the times your ex-partner made you shiver from pleasure? If so, the duo THEY. sure knows how to make the perfect soundscape for the memories with their new track, "All Mine." The demon time anthem is the third single from their soon to be released project, "The Amanda Tape."

The duo are quickly following up their fun-loving video with the beautiful songstress, Tinashe titled "Play Fight." Running around an arcade with Tinashe is a good way to spark some heat with the ideas for a song like "All Mine."

Knowing how awkward convos with your ex can usually turn left, the fellas of THEY., Dante Jones and Andrew "Drew Love" Neely, leaned into the punch with this to say about the song and situation: "This song is one of the bedroom jams of the album. We both grew [up] big fans of The-Dream and wanted to make something with that delivery and attitude he always brought.  A lot of us got those on-again/off-again type of relationships that always seem to come full circle. My ex told me that she was with a new dude and happy...I’m just like 'ok, we’ll see lol.'"

Be sure to check for the full project from THEY. as the guys surely know how to get the conversation going with those you probably shouldn't be talking to...for obvious reasons. Cus, whether they are your former lover or current side piece, if you laid it down right, they'll always be yours...right?

Salaam Remi Selects Winner Of #IsItCusImBlack Sangin' Contest + Drops New "Black Love" Video w/Teedra Moses & DJ D-Nice

We've all seen how married rappers Papoose and Remy have championed the feeling, but now we have the theme song for the movement of "Black Love." Producer to the stars, Salaam Remi has enlisted the talents of the golden voiced siren, Teedra Moses and the world's favorite DJ, D-Nice for this feel good roller-skating jam.

The video, directed by Remi and @itsjustati⁣, takes place on "Black Love Beach" and has Moses dancing freely through the sands and spotlights other couples hugged up and smiling throughout the clip. The rolling bassline and the way the drums hit compliment Moses' high flying vocals of just wanting to love her significant other. Give a big shout out to the wonderful video edits, by Tatiana Crooks, of a quarantining D-Nice interspersed.

You'll be able to find the song on the upcoming full length album by Remi titled Black On Purpose.  What you'll also find on that album is the winner of the #VIBEIsItBecauseImBlackContest

Remi chose the winner, @B_Trenton (Congrats!) and he will be featured on the remixed version of the song, "Is It Cus I'm Black," previously released a few weeks ago. Partnering with VIBE for the search, Remi cycled through the contestants and picked the winner on the connection he felt to his vocals. The prize was being featured on the track along side of Anthony Hamilton, Black Thought, Cee-Lo Green, Syleena Johnson, & Stephen Marley. Check out the IG Live he conducted with B Trenton below.

Video Premiere: Kay Anthony Links With Dot Demo On New Single "Bless Me"

It's a meeting of the dope guys. I say that with all realness as I've been a witness of seeing these two incredible MCs come up and claim their spots these last few years. They have done the solo push through the murky waters of being independent artists, learning the ups and downs of the music industry. After collecting their bumps and bruises, Kay Anthony of Brooklyn and Dot Demo of the Bronx are finally in their full swing of producing songs that showcase their matured sounds and amazing visuals.

Linking on Anthony's newest single, "Bless Me," the fellas flow and find pockets of greatness that will surely be a marker of times to come. The music has a deep pulse feel and is a smoker's delight, with it's wavy bassline and cool out hook: "Asking for the universe to bless..." The visuals, shot by Chapter.02, are smooth and "we outside-ish."

Dot Demo and Kay Anthony are the unexpected duo that you didn't know you needed. Check their latest full projects of music below.
