Amanda Bynes Pleads Not Guilty In Two Hit-And-Run Cases

Amanda Bynes refuses to get caught in a bind.

According to Yahoo! News, the former child star pleaded not guilty Thursday in two hit-and-run cases out of a number of alleged driving violations over the past six months that left her license suspended. The 26-year-old did not show up for the brief court hearing in Los Angeles, but instead entered the pleas through her attorney.

The ex-Nickelodeon starlet was facing jail time last week after a vehicle she drove rear-ended and damaged another motorist’s car. She was also arrested in April for allegedly driving under the influence.

Though details are not clear, one thing’s for sure — being a disappearing act isn’t exactly doing much good for Bynes’ TV/movie career.
