Did Kate Gosselin Beat Her Kids With A Wooden Spoon?

America’s famed mother of eight Kate Gosselin has been scrutinized for her discipline skills since her popular reality show.

Now, a new memoir written by Us Magazine reporter Robert Hoffman has uncovered some explicit details about her parenting, RadarOnline.com reports exclusively.

“She was beating 2-year-old babies in diapers,” says Hoffman, who claims he found secret journals that Kate used to help her write her books, “Multiple Bles8ings” and “Eight Little Faces, told Star magazine. “I don’t judge somebody for spanking, but what Kate wrote in her journal is just absolute violence.”

According to Hoffman, the Kate Plus 8 star, who’s inspired Halloween costumes in her likeness, kept detailed notes on her computer about using a wooden spoon to hit her children and punishing them for small infractions like climbing out of a crib or not adapting to potty training quickly enough. He alleges that she used the wooden spoon, which Kate called ‘The Spanker,’ excessively. “The spanking entries are endless,” he says. It comes as no surprise that Kate’s lawyers are trying to block the book titled “Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World” scheduled for release Sept. 29.

To make matters even more tense, Hoffman reportedly became chums with Kate’s ex-husband Jon Gosselin to get the inside scoop. A family source says Jon was aware of the abuse but did not approve of it. Talk about a family affair.
