Swizz Beatz, Dr. Cordice Honored at Harlem Hospital Center’s Mural Pavilion Opening

Swizz Beatz and Dr. John Cordice, a member of the Harlem Hospital medical team who saved Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. life in 1958, were the guests of honor at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Harlem Hospital Center’s new Mural Pavilion this past Thursday (Sept. 27). In addition to opening the new $325 million facility, which includes a gallery of original paintings created under President Roosevelt’s Harlem Renaissance-era Works Progress Administration, Beatz officially accepted his new role as HHC’s Global Ambassador.

“I can honestly say tonight represents something bigger than a Grammy… bigger than selling millions of records… bigger than my wildest musical dreams,” Beatz said.
