The ’90s was a time when family sitcoms reigned television stations and viewers would tune in for an evening of laughs and drama. While we try to make a comeback to the sitcom era with new shows like TV One’s Love That Girl and TBS’ Meet the Brownswe can’t help but crave a blast from the past.

The Parent ‘Hood (1995-1999) was a series that followed a middle class family in Harlem through the ups and downs of life. Deemed The Cosby Show of the ’90s, no one will ever forget Uncle Wendell’s (Faizon Love) humor or Robert Peterson’s (Robert Townsend) far-fetched fantasy sequences.

Thirteen years after the show’s end, some have fell out of the limelight and others remained in tact.
