Carlton Fisk Pleads Guilty To DUI

Former MLB star Carlton Fisk pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of drunk-driving, after being pulled over in suburban Chicago.

The Hall of Famer Fisk pleaded guilty and was sentenced Thursday to one year of corporate supervision and drug and alcohol counseling. The former Red Sox and White Sox great was found asleep in his pickup truck in a cornfield last October, and police say there was an open bottle of vodka at his feet.

Fisk pleaded guilty after his attorney said Fisk wanted to accept responsibility for his actions.
