Juan Manuel Marquez Knocks Out Manny Pacquiao in Round 6

It lasted 2 minutes and 59 seconds, but Manny Pacquiao was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in six rounds following a hard right punch from the Mexican boxer.

The fight was relatively quick in comparison to the last three times the boxers met in the ring. Those fights ended in two decisions and a draw. "I am giving him a chance to prove he can win the fight because he thought he has won all three and he keeps talking about it," Pacquiao told the AP about his reasons for fighting Marquez again.

On Saturday night at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena, Pacquiao had an early lead up until things got tied up in Round 3. The fight was always close. Marquez was ahead by only one point at the end of Round 4 (48-47), and Pacquiao ahead by a point at the end of Round 5 (57-56.) By the sixth round, Marquez's nose was bleeding and it appeared to be broken as he was breathing through his mouth, but he was able to land a hard punch that took Pacquiao out cold.

The night wasn't entirely a loss for Pacquiao. The Pacman was promised at least $23 million for the fight, while Marquez was only guaranteed $6 million. Pacman also got to meet Mitt Romney, although that could now be considered a bad omen, considering they both lost.

As for that Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight everyone still wants to see, check out VIBE's talk with Pacman's trainer Freddie Roach this month on the topic below.

R. Kelly Agrees To Part Ways With Sony Amidst Sexual Misconduct Allegations

According to Billboard, Sony and R. Kelly have reportedly agreed to part ways amidst a slew of sexual misconduct allegations. This comes a few weeks after the explosive documentary Surviving R. Kelly aired, which chronicled the musician's highly-discussed history involving teenage girls and women.

The source reveals to the publication, "Kelly had been signed to Jive since the beginning of his career in the early 1990s, and when Jive became part of Sony BMG, he became part of the Sony umbrella. He has been under contract at RCA, a Sony subsidiary, since 2012." Protests calling for Sony to drop the Pied Piper of R&B took place outside of the company's Manhattan offices on Wednesday (Jan. 16).

After the debut of the series, which aired in six-parts over three days in early-January, several former collaborators of Kelly's including Chance The Rapper, Celine Dion and Lady Gaga, have removed their songs featuring Kelly from steaming services. Kelly is reportedly under criminal investigation in both Georgia and Illinois, which is said to be a direct result of allegations made in the Lifetime documentary.

"Allegations against Kelly have been around for over a decade, and he was acquitted on child pornography charges in 2008," Billboard continues. "But they have resurfaced repeatedly in recent years, with the latest arriving this month. Kelly has repeatedly denied all allegations of misconduct."

"It's about facing whatever your Goliath is and chopping its head off. That's what 'Tic Boom' is about. It's about owning your moment, mastery, and doing it afraid if you have to."

Future Says Russell Wilson Needs To Be 'A Man,' Does Whatever Ciara Tells Him To Do

Future is not holding back in a new interview featured on FREEBANDZ Radio via Apple Music. The "Crushed Up" rapper discussed his new album The WIZRD with host Big Bank Black, and things got tense when he was queried about the mother of his son, Ciara, and her relationship with her husband, Russell Wilson.

“[Wilson] do exactly what she tell him to do!" Fewtch said in reference to the NFL player. "I feel like he not being a man in that position. He not tellin’ her, 'Chill out with that on the Internet. Don’t even talk to him [Future]. I’m your husband! You better not even bring Future’s name up!’"

He continues by saying that if he was still with Ciara, bringing up an ex's name in conversation wouldn't even be part of a conversation.

"If that was me, she couldn’t even bring his name up,” he continued. “She know that. She couldn’t even bring her ex's names up. I don’t care what they gave you... Don’t bring their names up in an interview! No! Don’t give that sh*t no energy. It’s about me, whatever, I’m taking care of everything, I'm a thousand percent. I live by a different kind of rules.”

"You know I'm taking care of my kids, whats the real issue?" he continues. "Y'all get married, and [Ciara] was like "I want you to meet Russell now," man, y'all already done did all the damage." However, he did give Wilson his props for helping his son learn how to play sports, and he doesn't look at that negatively.

Future and Ciara have not had an amicable split. They have gone back-and-forth with their words on social media, and attempted to settled a custody battle for the four-year-old son, Future.
