1. Glowing Faces
Fresh, glowing faces dominated the runways for 2013. The look is natural, dewy, and fresh.
Tip: Mix an illuminator with your foundation, and then apply with a duo fiber brush for an airbrushed finish.
2. Bold Brows
It’s all about the statement eyebrow in 2013. Bold brows draw focus to your eyes without piling a ton of eye makeup, allowing you to stay fresh faced.
Try: Anastasia’s Brow Gel $21; MAC’s Brow Set $16; or Revlon’s Brow Fantasy $9.
3. Go Neutral
Neutral nails and lips are classic and en vogue for 2013. They were all over the runways at Spring/Summer 2013 fashion week. Stay ahead of the curve by picking up a few nude polishes and lippies.
Try: OPI’s Coney Island Cotton Candy or Nicole by OPI’s Kardashian Konfidential, both $8; Revlon’s Nude Attitude $9; MAC’s Crème de Nude $15; Wet & Wild’s Bare It All $5.00.
4. Perfect Pantone
The color experts have declared pantone as the color of the year for 2013, so be on the look out for cosmetics in the pretty green hue. Nail colors and eyeliners are a great way to stay on trend and add a pop of color to your daytime looks.
Try: Emerald Envy polish $2.80; China Glaze’s Emerald Fitzgerald $5.00; SpaRitual polish in Emerald City $10; MAC Power Point Eye Pencil in So There Jade $15; Sephora Jumbo Eye Pencil in Green $14; L’Oreal Double Extend Eye Illuminator in Black Emerald $7.00.
