V Exclusive! Game Reconciles Beef With Jay-Z?

The Game’s new standout LP, Jesus Piece, features collaborations with some of the biggest names in hip-hop & R&B: Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Big Sean, Fabolous, Tyga and Jeremih. Did we forget anyone? Oh, right… also: Kanye West, Common, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa and Jamie Foxx. (See what we mean?) But one guy you won’t see on there: Jay-Z.

Game dissed HOV back on the track “It’s Okay (One Blood),” off 2006’s Doctor’s Advocate. It was short, but to the point: “You 38 and you still rappin’ uh,” a 26-year-old Game raps on the track, attacking HOVA’s elder years. Jay-Z eventually shot back on “The Prelude,” and there has been some more back-and-forth over the years.

But the tables are turning. Game has five albums under his belt now, and is five years shy of 38. The “Black Jesus” spitter just celebrated his 33rd birthday last month and is preaching from a new lyrical bible on Jesus Piece. So, VIBE asked Game about his past Jay-Z disses when he stopped by the magazine’s LA office today. Check out Game talking about Jay-Z in the clip below. Pick up Jesus Piece when it drops on Dec. 11, and let us know if you’d like these two on a track together.
