Bradley Cooper In Talks To Play Lance Armstrong In Biopic

After expressing a huge interest in portraying disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, director J.J. Abram dishes a scoop about his involvement in the upcoming biopic about the athlete. Entertainment Tonight was on had at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles when they cornered the newly christened Star Wars director on the red carpet. When Christina McLarty asked about BC’s interest in tackling the part, Abrams told ET, “[Cooper] sent me an email and we’ve been talking.” Just last week the talented thespian told BBC News, “I would be interested in [playing Armstrong]. I think he’s fascinating. What a fascinating character.” Indeed. The former Tour de France road racer admitted in mid-January that he was doping during all seven of his wins.
