Beyonce Reunites With Destiny’s Child for Super Bowl Halftime Show (VIDEO)

Beyonce opened her electric Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance with “Love on Top” and “Crazy in Love,” the latter her 2003 duet with hubby Jay-Z. Jay-Z didn’t join in on the fun, but that didn’t stop King B from running through a medley of her hits. She wowed the crowd with her constantly moving mane and the more recent “End of Time” and dancehall-infused “Baby Boy,” as the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers were holed up in their locker rooms, with the Ravens leading 21-6 at the half. Beyonce would go further back in time during her halftime performance. The highlight of the R&B diva’s performance came when she reunited with her fellow Destiny’s Child members — Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. Rowland and Williams popped out of the stage to the beat of “Bootylicious” and clad in similar leather dominatrix-like outfits. The reunited trio also performed “Independent Women” before assisting Beyonce on “Single Ladies.” The ladies did not perform their new single, “Nuclear,” however. Beyonce closed the epic halftime performance with her touching and big-note-heavy “Halo.” By then it was obvious she wasn’t lip-syncing, like she had choosen to do during the presidential inauguration last month. Her halftime show was flawless apart from some sound issues during the mike trade-off on “Single Ladies.” It’s no wonder they call her King or Queen B.
