Converse Goes Back Into Time for New Collection
Back in the day Converse was celebrated by iconic basketball legends and sneaker heads everywhere. If you didn’t own a pair of black or white heavy-grade canvas sneaks, you weren’t anyone's radar. This Spring, the shoe brand is going back into time and is re-crafting the specifications of its Chuck Taylor All Star of the ‘70s.
For $70-$85, the sneakers feature higher rubber foxing along the sole, added cushioning, a vintage license plate on the heel and a super heavy-grade canvas upper.
The original black and white sneakers will be available globally tomorrow, but other original colors will be in April.
