Mariah Speaks On 'Almost Home', New LP: 'I'm Working So Hard'
Mariah Carey recently called in to the On Air with Ryan Seacrest radio show to talk about her Idol experience, new single "Almost Home" and anticipating the release of her upcoming album.
The new Mom explained that judging Idol has been a stressful experience because there is so much talent on the show. She also mentioned that her latest song "Almost Home," is a feel-good record for the movie Oz and that she was excited to be a part of it. Seacrest asked the 42-year-old singer when can fans expect her new album and she replied, "ASAP, I'm working so hard."
Last year, MTV spoke to her producer Bryan-Michael Cox in regards to the album. Cox reported that both him and Jermaine Dupri have been coming up with a few things that will make for a really solid body of work. Mariah's new album is expected to be released later on this year, while the visuals for "Almost Home" come out March 8, the same day Oz hits theaters.
