H&M’s COS Brand is Finally Coming to the States

We all know how fabulous H&M stores are, but do you know about COS, its stylish and pricier sibling?

Currently COS (Collection Of Style)—which is basically a combination of Marc Jacobs and Celine—is only available in select European stores, but Daniel Kull, U.S. president of H&M told WWD that it’s coming to the states.

“Everything is in the works and the plans,” said Kull. “It looks very interesting for fashion-conscious females and is right-on [in terms of trend]. We can also take COS, which has 70 or 80 stores. COS for sure will be in America. We’re looking for an opportunity to open Cos. We also have other, smaller brands, such as Cheap Monday. That’s the recipe for growth.”

Though Hennes & Mauritz isn’t exactly sure when COS will open across the pond, they plan to open over 40 new H&M stores throughout the U.S. in the coming year. And if that’s not good enough, H&M’s e-commerce, which has been pushed back numerous times, will actually launch this summer.
