Justin Timberlake’s ’20 20 Experience’ Headed For Record 800K Sales Debut

It seems like everyone’s excited about Justin Timberlake’s comeback; a lot of them are copping his album. According to Billboard, the pop star is projected to push over 800,000 first-week copies of his third solo album, The 20/20 Experience.

With those numbers, the album — which hit shelves this past Tuesday (Mar. 19) — will be Timberlake’s second solo effort to top the Billboard 200 album chart.

JT’s previous LP, 2006’s (pretty spectacular) FutureSex/LoveSounds debuted at No. 1 and sold 684,000 in its first week, so 20/20 would mark a record for the singer. It’d also be the highest-selling album of 2013 thus far.

In addition, Justin will likely hold bragging rights, with the biggest sales week for a male artist since Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV in 2010. That sold close to a million units its first week. Even better news for fans: Volume 2 is coming soon.
