Listen: Daft Punk Release Another Snippet From New Album, ‘Random Access Memories’

They keep dropping hints.

Daft Punk — on the heels of sorta officially announcing the title of their fourth studio album Random Access Memories only yesterday — dropped another 15-second teaser for what is looking like the album’s first single. The short promo aired during a re-run of Saturday Night Live last night (March 23.) If it sounds familiar, it’s because it is. The less produced version of the same snippet originally aired on March 2. The new 15-second promo includes the lyrics “we’re up all night to get funky/ we’re up all night to get lucky.”

From this 15-second clip alone, Random Access Memories already sounds like a return to form for the French DJ duo. The swirling robotic tendencies and disco-glam production recall tracks from 2001’s Discovery like “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” “One More Time” “Cresendolls.”

Spin the latest Daft Punk snippet below. Random Access Memories is out on May 21. Pre-order it here.
