Seth Green Lands Role In Seth MacFarlane’s ‘Dads’

It seems like Seth MacFarlane is choosing to be a smart man by staying in the Seth Green business!

The two Family Guy cast-mates have just expanded their working relationship into the live-action world. Green, who provides the voice of Chris Griffin on MacFarlane’s animated series, has signed on as the lead for Dads.

The upcoming Fox series from MacFarlane and his Ted partners Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild will center on two succesful guys in their 30s who have their worlds turned upside-down when their dads move in with them. The multi-camera series has already received a six-episode order from Fox.

The Robot Chicken creator will play Eli, a man who has yet to grow up but managed to build a successful videogame company alongside his best buddy Warner (played by The Mindy Project’s own Tommy Dewey).

Peter Riegert and Martin Mull (Night Court) have been cast as the impeding fathers. The cast also rounds out with Brenda Song as Veronica.

MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door Productions are producing the series with Seth, Sulkin and Wild all as executive producers. Sulkin and Wild will write the scripts.
