5 Life Lessons We Learned From ‘Love & Hip Hop NY’ Season 3
Reality television drama is entertaining, but with all of the staged confrontations and glamorous hair and makeup, we forget these situations are rooted in real life. Through all of the thrown drinks and comedic scenes on this season of Love and Hip-Hop New York, we took away some valuable life lessons.
1. The Dangers of Dating a Confused Man
The Budden-Tahiry-Kaylin love triangle is certainly the most interesting storyline of the season. It’s hard to believe that the Jersey rapper was still rebounding from his five-year relationship with model Tahiry three years later, but Kaylin Garcia found out the hard way that history trumps new love. Even though the rap-star was honest with his Insta-famous girlfriend about his love for Tahiry, she got burned in the end.
Lesson Learned: If you aren’t his only love interest, let him go! If you find yourself coming to blows with another woman or competing for your man’s attention, the relationship is doomed.
