With the Beastie Boys in talks to release a memoir in the near future, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the surviving members want to create something that’s more than just a simple story. According to Rolling Stone, Juile Grau, the publisher of Spiegel & Grau, says Adam and Mike want to create a multidimensional experience. With their 20-plus-year career, the book will be something to remember. Though plenty of hip-hop memoirs have lined shelves (see: Prodigy, Common and, um, Karrine Steffans), many more stories remain untold.
