L.A. Bomb Threat: Hooters Restaurant And Cal State Campus Evacuated

There are dual L.A. bomb threats in effect Thursday (April 18) evening, as the country continues to reel from the explosions at the Boston Marathon Monday.

First, Cal State LA’s campus was evacuated at around 4PM after a bomb scare. Then, a Hooters on Hollywood Blvd was evacuated after a man claimed to have a bomb and left it in the restaurant. A portion of Hollywood Blvd near the Chinese Theatre is still roped off.

It’s unknown if the L.A. bomb threats are related to each other or to Monday’s explosions across the country.
