Norway Reschedules Midterms For Justin Bieber Tour

You can’t say you’ve made it until you have the power to reschedule midterm exams for an entire country.

After Justin Bieber caused pandemonium in Oslo with his free show last year, Norway is bracing themselves for the singer’s return. Education officials have rescheduled midterm exams for the 500 students in that region, who will now take their tests on April 10 and 11 instead of the original dates April 16 and 17.

“I am concerned that students should be concentrating when they take tests and midterms,” said Kristin Halvorsen, Norway’s education minister said in a statement to the Associated Press. “The local schools have the responsibility to schedule the local midterms, and if they think there is any reason to change the dates, they have authority to do so. We’ve all been 14 years old and know that interests can be intense.”

Roar Aasen, the principal of the Blindheim secondary school in Alesund, added, “We considered that this was a battle that we could not win this time.” Granted, the “Right Here” singer did declare a state of emergency in Norway last time.

When the Teen Vogue cover boy caught wind of the story, he tweeted “love this.”
