Did Beyoncé Embarass A Princess At Her Recent Show?
Beyoncé could have picked any member of the Bey hive at her recent London show to sing the words "Irreplaceable." Instead, she chose an actual member of royalty who apparently couldn't carry the tune.
When Bey rocked the O2 Arena for her Mrs. Carter Tour with the Ne-Yo-penned hit, she stuck the mic in front of Princess Eugenie of Britain's face to get her to utter the ever-popular phrase "to the left, to the left," as she routinely does. However, nothing came out of the princess.
According to the Mirror, Eugenie was being picked on for giving Bey the silent treatment. “It was hilarious — Eugenie was on the front row with Kate Middleton’s brother, James, and his new girlfriend, Donna Air, plus designers Matthew Williamson and Patrick Cox,” the source said. “All Eugenie’s friends were teasing her about her stage fright for hours afterwards.”
There may be another shot at redemption for the royal Brit as the "Grown Woman" singer will headline a star-studded London charity concert for women alongside Florence and the Machine, Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, John Legend and more June 1.
Someone print the lyrics out for Eugenie in case she decides to attend that gig.
