Jamie Foxx Lands TBS Show, 'Dad Stop Embarrassing Me'
With a sense of humor like the one that he has, it was pretty much inevitable that Jamie Foxx would at one point or another embarrass his 19-year-old daughter. It's what daddy's do best and it's what ultimately led to the concept behind his new TBS series.
The network announced yesterday that the show, 'Dad Stop Embarrassing Me,' will be production very soon, according to Electronic Urban Report. The series will be under Foxx's studio company and he will also develop it as a writer and serve as executive producer. With his background in TV, starring on everything from 'In Living Color,' to "The Jamie Foxx Show," we're sure the show will be a success for the 45-year-old.
The 'Django' star also has another sci-fi thriller, '31 Days of Halloween' in the works. He will write, direct and produce the project as well. The Oscar-winner has also been busy working on the set of 'The Amazing Spiderman 2' and 'Annie' all the while promoting his action-thriller, 'White House Down' alongside co-star Channing Tatum.
With all his hard work as a multi-talented actor, singer and now TV series writer and producer, daddy can't be that embarrassing. Right?
