Schoolboy Q’s ‘Oxymoron’ Features His Daughter
We could talk to Schoolboy Q for hours. Scratch that. We could talk and smoke with Groovy Q for hours.
Q is easily sitting on one of hip-hop’s most anticipated album’s of 2013. So far, all of Oxymoron’s projected tracks, like “Yay yay” and “Gangsta,” have been raw and recall that old school reality rap mentality.
“I love killing people on a verse,” Q tells VIBE. “If more people killed people on a verse, there’d be less violence and crime rate.”
Q opens up about the return to reality rap on his third album and the appearances from his Black Hippy affiliates Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, plus one little special guest: his toddler daughter. Q tells it best, so watch above.
