Vin Diesel: 'Facebook Owes Me Billions Of Dollars'

Speed demon Vin Diesel was on Facebook before it was even Facebook. At least that's his explanation for nabbing 41 million likes on the social media platform.

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, the "Fast & Furious star" said jumping on the FB game early in 2009 helped mold his larger-than-life online persona, especially after connecting with fans personally on the site. His only competition? The Commander-in-chief.

"So, when I had started my page, the only person that had a million fans was Barack Obama. Because it was first-quarter 2009, and he’d just got elected as President, because of social media,” Diesel says. “So, when I started talking to the fans, I became the No. 1 page in the world. Over Coca-Cola, over huge companies. And it was only because I said: ‘Hi, guys, I love you.’" (Facebook was even the place fans loved the barritone-voiced actor for singing a deep rendition of Rihanna's "Stay" for his longtime girlfriend.)

At one point, Diesel's profile was the no.1 most liked page in the world and even stumped the FB team, who had reached out for an explanation and “to come up to their office to explain what the fuck I was doing, and why I had so many fans.”

Now, the vanilla Hulk, who's still beasting on-screen at 45, jokes that Mark Zuckerberg's brain child owes him a couple stacks. “Facebook really owes me billions of dollars,” he jokes. “But whatever.”

Jada Pinkett Smith Opens Up About Past Porn Addiction

Jada Pinkett Smith discussed her previously "unhealthy" addiction to porn on her Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk.

The actress opened up on Monday's episode (May 20) about her relationship to porn, which she revealed occurred shortly before her relationship with her husband Will Smith began.

"If I was still on my porn game, I'd be able to show you some good porn," she said to her daughter Willow and mother Adrienne shortly before the episode began.

"Back in the day I had a little porn addiction, but I wasn't in a relationship when I had a porn addiction, believe it or not, thank goodness," she said. "...Maybe I’ll say now that I had an unhealthy relationship to porn at one point in my life where I was trying to practice abstinence."

When prompted by her daughter on what brought on this "fixation" to adult entertainment, Jada discussed that it came from an emotional place.

"It was actually like feeling like an emptiness, at least you think it is," she explained. "But it's actually not."

Later on in the episode, the trio brought in a couple who explained how the man's porn addiction nearly cost them their marriage.

Nipsey Hussle's Sister Maintains Custody Of His Daughter

According to reports, Nipsey Hussle's sister Samantha will retain custody of his 10-year-old daughter, Emani.

TMZ says that the late rapper's family believes that Emani's biological mother, Tanisha Foster, is "unfit" to take care of the child. Foster was interviewed briefly by the gossip site's cameras regarding the verdict, where she voiced her disappointment.

"I'm pissed off," she said. When prompted about matters such as visitation rights for the child, Foster did not comment. There is reportedly another hearing in July.

"Tanisha's lawyer, Larry Lewellyn, tells TMZ he's working with Nipsey's family on a visitation schedule that will be in Emani's best interest," reports the site. Emani has been living under the care of Smith since her father's untimely death in late-March.

As VIBE previously reported, a warrant was reportedly sent out for Foster's arrest after she failed to appear in court for a DUI case. "Foster skipped out on her court date on May 15... which resulted in her probation being revoked and a bench warrant for her arrest being issued," we wrote.

Congrats: Ciara To Study At Harvard Business School

Props are in order for Ciara. The singer will reportedly be attending an Ivy League school– Harvard University to be exact– to continue to level up.

According to People, a representative for CiCi confirmed that the superstar will be taking classes at the prestigious Boston college's business school in the Business of Entertainment, Media and Sports program. The school's website notes that "admission to Ciara’s specific program is a 'selective process based on … professional achievement and organizational responsibilities.'"

As we know, attending college is no easy feat, and the "Thinkin' Bout You" singer will reportedly learn to "develop and execute more effective business strategies" as well as “debate and analyze the business and technology trends that are redefining the industry."

"I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for," Ciara wrote on Instagram. "This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement! Thank you @anitaelberse for a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend @Harvard BEMS."

Ciara's latest album, Beauty Marks, dropped earlier this month, and she also recently became a full-blown business woman when she announced her plans to start her own label and company, Beauty Marks Entertainment. BME will reportedly live at the crossroads of entertainment, "where music intersects with Film, Fashion, Technology & Philanthropy."
