6 Reasons to See 'White House Down' This Weekend
Movie-goers, Jamie Foxx and the delicious, Channing Tatum are kicking ass in the latest film to hit theaters tomorrow (June 28th). White House Down is your perfect jumpstart to the Summer. When a terrorist group invades the White House, Tatum, a rejected secret service applicant, is forced to defend the President (Jamie Foxx) and rescue his daughter being held as a hostage. Here are six reasons to make White House Down a must see for your Summer Friday.
1. Jamie Foxx Transforms From Slave To President
A refreshing change; this weekend, the Django star who was just on screen fighting for his freedom has immersed himself into the role of United States President, James Sawyer. What role hasn’t J.Foxx tackled?
2. Channing Tatum! Need I say more.....
Two hours of Tatum is enough of a reason for any female to cough up an $12 movie ticket. The 33-year-old actor was dubbed last year by People magazine as the sexiest man alive, and uh...we totally agree.
We anticipate a few quirky and comedic punches to happen with these two. Based from the trailer clip, we're sure we'll be laughing non-stop.
4. You Loved Independence Day and Day After Tomorrow
Chances are, if you’re a fan of Independence Day and Day After Tomorrow then you’re familiar with the work of director and filmmaker, Roland Emmerich. His movies make taking down the White House a breeze as he delivers action filled terrorist plots every time.
5. There's a Twist
The trailer hinted that White House Down may have an unexpected and edgy twist...
6. Because, Jamie is One of The Best
There are few actors we can almost guarantee a good performance when they hit the screen, and Jamie Foxx is one of them. We’re sure this movie will just be another great role for Foxx to add to his roster of hits. I wonder what Obama will think?
