Kim And Kanye's Baby Name Has Nothing To Do With Direction
Barrels of directional jokes started rolling in the minute news hit that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had named their baby girl North. But a source close to the couple assures that the upstanding name was not inspired by a geographical location.
According to the insider, the paparazzi's beloved couple dubbed their first child North because the babe represents the peak of their relationship. "What's North of North? Nothing," the source told TMZ.
For a mother who's at the height of her reality television fame and a daddy who spews bars about his God-like features, naming their bundle of joy the opposite of south because of its play on "up" seems plausible. "They consider her their 'North Star,'" the gossip outlet reports.
As if their high-profile romance couldn't have soared any higher, the Yeezus rapper reportedly got down on one knee and proposed to his beau after she gave birth.
"He has spent half a million on a ring as a push present and had it designed months ago in preparation," a source told The Sun, revealing that a wedding is slated for September in Paris. “He’s even more in love with her now than ever and they can’t wait to get married.”
