Spoiler Alert! ‘Jurassic 4′ Plot Details Emerge

If you’ll recall, we reported that Universal Pictures and the team behind the upcoming dino-pic had some issues. But now, it appears that instead of a wrapped set, we have some tantalizing plot rumors for you all!

Stressing two things before you read on: 1) This contains spoilers! 2) These are all unconfirmed.

According to film site, JoBlo, which has the scoop, the premise for Jurassic Park 4 will be set in present day Isla Nublar and would be developed into an actual theme park. A Dino-Disneyland, yes… it makes for some interesting developments, especially since that was how it was intended by John Hammond in the first film.

The previous films had largely shown the back-from-extinction dinosaurs running amok around the island, but this potential set up for the new sequel is believed to be an attempt at lulling the audience into a false sense of security. With over 10 million plus visitors per year all visiting the island to see prehistoric creatures in the here-and-now, you know it will be a matter of time until the island is no longer safe for humanity to inhabit.

“The park itself is described as very Sea World-esque and includes an area called the Isla Nublar Lagoon,” writes JoBlo. Terrifying underwater dinos presented on screen for the first time sounds amazing. While there is no indication of what kind of aquatic animals will be featured, there’s concept art showing one such creature jumping out of the lagoon and devouring a strung up Great White Shark like it was a guppy.

The writers behind Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, have penned the script, as Steven Spielberg is said to be personally working with the producers and director Colin Trevorrow to create the best possible film.

Jurassic Park 4 is expected for a 2015 release.
