Terrell Owens Visits Chad Johnson In Jail

At the height of their careers, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and Terrell “T.O.” Owens were two of the NFL’s most talented, outspoken and controversial stars. Both players suffered catastrophic downfalls, ultimately resulting in their dismissal from the league. Yesterday, Owens took to Twitter to reveal that he had visited his former Cincinnati Bengals teammate and that the experience was startling. “That was the 1st time ever visiting someone in jail & hopefully the last. That’s not a place anyone wants to be regardless of how many days,” Owens tweeted. ” I really didn’t know what to expect but to see the homie locked up is a very humbling experience, to talk to him via vid conference let me know that’s not where anyone wants to be.” Owens also jested that Johnson needed a haircut but remains in good spirits. Johnson is still serving time in a Broward County jail for violating his probation, which stems from a 2012 domestic violence case involving his then-wife, TV reality star Evelyn Lozada. The embattled wide receiver was denied a plea deal that called for no jail time last week. Owens dodged a prison sentence last year, after falling $20,000 behind on child support payments.
