Justin Bieber Tour Bus Busted For Drugs At Canadian Border

Justin Bieber has a knack for being absent at the scene of the crime whenever trouble’s going down. From Lil Twist’s joy rides in his Ferrari to a pot party at his mansion, the Biebs was nowhere to be found on his tour bus when it was reportedly stopped at the Canadian border by authorities who discovered drugs on the vehicle.

Detroit Free Press reports:

Before teen heartthrob Justin Bieber performed Sunday night at Joe Louis Arena, border authorities searched one of his tour buses — and discovered marijuana. The singer was not on the bus at the time, according to Kenneth Hammond, chief officer and public affairs liaison for U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Detroit. Hammond said in an e-mail Monday night that the bus was attempting to enter the U.S. from Canada via the Ambassador Bridge. During a secondary inspection, a police dog alerted authorities to the presence of drugs. Customs officers found and seized a small amount of marijuana intended for personal use and drug paraphernalia, Hammond said.

Luckily for his Beliebers, the teen phenom was able to light up the stage in D-town but his bus driver was issued a civil penalty before he and the passengers were allowed to continue their journey.
