Miley Cyrus' Parents Call Off Divorce
Guess Billy Ray and Tish took a cue from daughter Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" after a couples therapy session and decided to ditch their plans to divorce.
"We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together," Miley's parents said in a statement. "We've had rough times but we both realized we didn't want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work."
Over the years, Billy Ray and Tish shared a rocky romance. Miley's rockstar dad first filed for divorce in the fall of 2010, but pulled the plug a few months later. Fast forward nearly three years later and the twosome nearly called it quits on their 19-year marriage. Now, the Cyruses are back on track thanks to therapy.
"We both went into couples therapy - something we haven't done in 22 years of being together, and it's brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways," they added. "Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment."
