3. Lil’ Mo Wants It So Much

In her very first scene, Lil’ Mo is telling her husband and manager that she needs to get to Beyoncé’s level. Frankly, at this late in the game Lil’ Mo could stand on the back of Jesus and I still don’t see her getting to Beyoncé’s level, but I love her spirit.

If there is to be any breakout star of the franchise – who ends up hawking t-shirts, has several catch phrases, and scores both a reality show spinoff and a modest hit single or two – expect it to be Lil’ Mo. Somebody that pressed for a resurgence isn’t going to accept defeat – and I’m not mad.

Oh yeah, since Lil’ Mo referred to herself in third person, you should anticipate Tamar Braxton eventually tweeting about inventing speaking in the third person. Meanwhile, there’s a whole set of Atlanta gay men seething over Tamar “borrowing” their entire lives.
