Busta Rhymes Says He Wanted To Unite G.O.O.D. Music And YMCMB On ‘Thank You’ Record

If there was any bad blood between G.O.O.D. Music and YMCMB, Busta Rhymes is putting the beef on pause for a mega collaboration between the two rosters on “Thank You.” Buss even snatched the opportunity to the visuals for the single off his forthcoming album Extinction Level Event 2 thanks to everyone being in Brooklyn for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

“I was just trying to capitalize on the moment of us all being in the same city, at the same time,” Bus told MTV. ”I just wanted to put it to bed and create an eventful moment where me and Wayne being Young Money/Cash Money on one team, Q-Tip and Kanye be on another movement on G.O.O.D. Music; just showing that camaraderie and that alliance and just making it official on a real hip-hop level.”

The minor feud between the two crews looked to be on its way out when Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Drake’s OVO festival earlier this month. Drizzy proclaimed, “That was probably the most important moment in my career to date.”
