Chris Brown Calls D.A. 'Racist' On Twitter
It's hard to catch a break when you're Chris Brown. After dodging charges for his recent hit-and-run case, the "Don't Think They Know" singer took to Twitter Thursday night (August 22) to unload his frustrations with the justice system, specifically the District Attorney, after being ordered to complete 1,000 additional hours of community service.
"I don't give a fuck no more. My hands work just fine!," he wrote. "Nigga done 6 months community service wit police and the DA racist ass crying to the judge that I didn't do it. Fuck the SYSTEM!" TMZ reports the L.A. County D.A. is an African-American woman.
The 24-year-old recently suffered a seizure in the studio caused by "intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity," according to his rep. His most recent appearance in the public eye was a charity basketball game in L.A. in partnership with his Symphonic Love foundation and the LAPD. Still, his stance on the law is less than favorable.
He continued, "How about y'all take care of all the homeless kids and families on skid row. Promote helping people that are really fucked up in your city! ... Family first! The LAW...last."
