‘The Butler’ Cleans Up At the Box Office, Will Take the No. 1 Spot

The media blitz that the cast of The Butler did certainly paid off. Deadline.com reports that the Lee Daniels film reigned supreme at the box offices with a projected $25 million for its opening weekend. According to the site, Oprah Winfrey’s involvement in the movie helped to boost ticket sales, especially since it was her first movie role in 15 years. That O effect is oh so real. Here is deadline’s list of the top five movies for this weekend:
