Vixen Vent: Bad Behavior is Not Black Behavior

Initially, Sharon had a seemingly valid opinion but then veered all the way left when she offered the possible reasons behind his behavior. “And I think that he’s lost, I really do. I think he doesn’t realize he’s white and not Black; that’s a huge problem. And, at the point he’s at in his career, it’s so dangerous because we’ve seen it all before a million times. Where do you go when you’re a child entertainer and then you want to transition to be a man? Very few make it.”

Children of all races go through a point in their lives where they want to rebel. The transition from child to man or woman isn’t meant to be some picturesque road, nor does one’s behavior depict their race. His behavior can be easily associated with other stigmas such as trailer park trash. Instead of injecting race that plays zero role in Justin Bieber’s behavior, lets hope that he is able to turn things around with guidance as he undergoes the growing pains of becoming a man.  —Alley Olivier
