Watch: Usain Bolt Wins 100m At 2013 World Championships

Is there anyone in the world faster than Usain Bolt?

Heavy rain couldn’t slow down the six-time Olympic gold medalist as he made his 100m dash in the 14th IAAF World Athletics Championships look easy Sunday night at Luzhniki Stadium in Russia. From the blocks, Bolt battled USA’s Justin Gatlin and his Jamaican counterpart Nesta Carter, who finished second and third respectively. His 9.77 seconds finish was enough to seal the deal in Moscow but he failed to top his best time which came in 2009, when he won gold in a world-record 9.58 seconds in Berlin. The 26-year-old currently holds the world records in both the 100m and 200m race.

Two years ago, Bolt was disqualified from the World Championships in South Korea after a false start in the finals.
