Nas Inspired Arsenio Hall To Return To Late Night TV

Nas and Arsenio Hall shared a bromantic moment during Wednesday night’s late-night rodeo (September 11) on the Arsenio Hall Show. The actor/ host, whose after-hours gab fest was at the peak of its success in the ’90s, revealed that it was the Queens lyricist who inspired him to get back on the air. “I was at the crib trying to decide if this [show] could happen and somebody had told me to listen to a track,” Arsenio explained. “And I was like ‘Man I don’t wanna listen to a track, you don’t know what I’m going through.’ He put on the track and in the middle of the track, [Nas] says, ‘Bring back Arsenio.'” Arsenio referenced Nas’ “Queens Get The Money,” the Jay Electronica-produced cut off his 2008 Untitled album. The admiration was mutual for the rapper, who is about to celebrate his 40th born day this Saturday. “Arsenio is the official king of late night television,” Nas said. “I been watching you since I was a young boy and you had the best show in the world.” Nas also confirmed that he will be dropping his forthcoming project on the Arsenio Hall Show.
